These bags are insulated specifically to trap your body heat in but of course cost significantly more than the cheaper character sleeping bags for kids.

There are many places that carry kids’ sleeping bags. Your local department stores like Target and Wal-Mart should have a pretty good selection of both outdoor and indoor. It might be a bit more difficult to find the fancy ‘cool’ looking kids outdoor sleeping bags there though.
The best advice I can give for you to find a sleeping bag that your kids will enjoy while at the same time keep the warm and comfortable, is to shop online. Here you will a plethora of choices, styles, and designs that your kids are for sure to find at least one that they like.
